School Days

Courtney with her Math Book.

Somebody got a new Desk.
What a pose!!

Ready for school.
Brooke working in her book.

The Summer went by way to fast. School days have started. I am sick so it is not the best time to start school, but we did. I am letting Brooke do some Pre-K. She loved it. The bad thing is I have forgot the fun things I did with Courtney. I need to buy a Curriculum book to remind me.
Courtney is in 5th grade this year. I have a schedule for the girls, but it was hard to stay on it. Courtney was getting through way to fast. The first few days of school are hectic anyway.
It is very different trying to teach two kids. I had Brooke starting her phonics at the time Courtney was starting math. The problem is we can't hear because of Courtney's dive CD. I am sure it will all come together. I am feeling pretty rough today, so that has not helped matters. My sweet husband has been so helpful. He cleaned up the kitchen for me while I started school with the girls. Kevin is so good to me. When I hear some of these other wives talk about their husbands I feel really spoiled. I was shocked at the women who have said, "My husband never helps me."

Morghann was doing her DIVE cd and I thought to get her some headphones. (although she did turn it down some and it wasn't too bad for any of us)

I am sure you will get into routine.:)
Caitlyn is not ready in the least. She sleeps in while we work:)
You are blessed for Kevin to help so much. My hubby is not a big helper either! His schedule in the summer is full, we harldy see him right now. But we are super thankful for the $$$.:)
I rely on Ryan alot. I love getting up really early sometimes and getting a few errands done while EVERYONE sleeps. I couldn't do that without him.

I am anazed at anyone that could home school their children. I always wanted to try but I would never know where to start and I know I dont have the patience or organization to do so properly. But none the less I am in awe of you. How is Brook doing on Phonics? I would love to teach them to Em.

I recognize that picture of the girls holding their "first day of school signs!" It looks familiar. :)

It was hard to get used to having JT in on the learning when he started school. It was much harder to get used to a little girl tearing up the house while the two boys did school! :)

I have been enjoying catching up on blogs. Looks like you have had a fun summer. My boys started back to school today. Ana Claire told me to tell Courtney she LOVES her hair. ;)
