Courtney's Poem

Courtney was sitting down last night and she said "Mom, I want to write a poem for Valentine's Day."
I said, " Well, write one." She got busy, and within 10 minutes she had written this poem. I think she did a great job.

Valentine's Day

Somewhere in the skies above, there is a day we all love. A day that is filled with love and care, a day that everyone can share. We pass out cards, hearts, and flowers, a day we can share through all twenty-four hours. That day is called Valentines Day. We can all laugh and play, because it is such a fun filled day. We are so sad when the day ends, but we can’t wait until next year, when it begins.
